Very busy for a Thursday late lunch. Samples for helpful trying to decide on beers. Waitress was very good. Fried chick and Rachel were great. Pan fried ravioli were good. Solid lunch!! Great beer!!
Nice pub to grab lunch and wash it down with a beer or two. They brew their own beers, have a full bar, including top shelf bourbons and whiskeys. Their New England chowder and lamb burger was delicious.
Service was EXCELLENT ! Thank you Ariel. Top notch pub food in a friendly environment of locals, & tourist. We had a bacon ch burger & a Rachel, both much better than average and at a fair price. Love this place. Best margaritas in Old Port, Portland, Maine.
Very cool old brewery, love the brick! Home town local feel. Great food, try the pulled pork or the ravioli. I did their flight and was impressed I enjoyed all their beers even their IPA. But my favorite was the S.O.S.
Went for dinner and sat outside. The outdoor seating was picnic tables - it was alright. Got clam chowder and wings, burger, and chicken strips and apple sauce for the kiddo. The food was good overall although I would say the wings had too much sauce on them. We didn’t finish everything so we packed some to go. The service was great. The bathrooms were upstairs so quite a trek from where we were. I would recommend the place. The strip has so many choices for food.
The most small and overpriced lobster roll in Maine.I was really disappointed by the size… they barely fill the bread and add lettuce in the bottom.
The beer was good. We got fish and chips and the deep fried shrimp; they were okay. We had them with sweet potatoes that were really good.
The waitress was excellent! We went for a Sunday lunch 2 weeks ago!
Suggestion: go for the beer.
Great food and beer selection. The bartender/server downstairs was slammed that day and still kept up with our drinks and had a great attitude and knowledge of the menu and beers. This is a must stop for a good time in Portland.
This is a good no-frills bar, definitely a Portland stable. When all the super touristy spots are full this is a great place to come in and have a decent beer. The food is solid, and the bartenders and servers are fast and work hard. I find myself frequenting here a ton for some solid and affordable pub food and a beer with friends.
